Sources uncovered that stock expense might have been in the scope of Rs 100-150 crore, while PSPCL in the beyond couple of days have bought power for twofold the sum at exorbitant rates which were just about as high as Rs 17 for each unit too. It is astounding regarding why private thermals were never requested to keep a month's coal stock when they are being paid at the terms set by them, added PSPCL sources.

Indeed, even on Tuesday, ranchers grumbled of helpless force supply and they submitted reminders to PSPCL boss architects in various areas of Punjab.

Outside PSPCL's administrative center in Patiala, a relationship of PSEB workers looking for occupations for the relatives of expired representatives arranged a dharna and locked the principle entryway. They even locked entryways of officials' settlements too. Workers regretted that while the executives was botching power supply, they were even not following requests of the groups of dead representatives by offering occupations to a relative on sympathetic grounds.
